Robert Zemeckis's new take on The Witches just landed it's grand high witch with Anne Hathaway! This version is said to be following the book more faithfully as it is based on a young boy who discovers a coven of witches at a seaside resort. The signing of Hathaway is very exciting as the original was classified as a family movie but definitely had it's scary moments. Fans may remember Robert Zemeckis as the director behind movies like Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Forest Gump and Castaway. This would mark his return into more family oriented movies, after primarily making adult dramas like Allied, The Walk and Flight. We look forward to hearing more about this project as it develops.
