My dear reader, it seems that Disneyland Resort is taking a page from the future and opening its first Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge on April 19, 2023. Named "Disney Vacation Club Star View Station - a Member Lounge," this new "space" in Tomorrowland at Disneyland park promises to bring Walt Disney's optimistic vision for the future to life.
But that's not all - this lounge will also be home to historic Disney items, including the K7 Space Suit worn by the Tomorrowland Astronauts during the early years of Disneyland, and the Space Station S-1 Model from the "Disneyland" television series. What a delightful way to pay homage to the past while looking towards the future.
And for eligible* Disney Vacation Club members with valid theme park tickets and reservations to Disneyland park, they'll be able to enjoy amenities such as a dedicated Disney Vacation Club Member Services team, seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, device-charging stations, and complimentary soft drinks.
Perhaps this new addition to Tomorrowland will be the beginning of the much-needed facelift it so desperately deserves. One can only hope.
