Flesh and Blood Showcases Paranoia To The Extreme.

The second "Into The Dark" film "Flesh and Blood" deals with the fear that the person you trust the most to protect you, is actually going to destroy you. Kim (Dianna Silvers) has developed a fear of leaving her house after her mother's murder. We see that Kim's only real friend anymore is her father Henry (Dermont Muloney) and they seem to be getting by ok until Kim sees a necklace that looks exactly like the one her dad gave her for her birthday around the neck of a missing girl on the news.

The film then uses suspense like a poor man's Hitchcock film, and by "poor man's" I really mean lesser in every aspect. The film isn't original, and you can pretty much see how things will unfold within the first 20 min. However the performances that Silvers and Muloney give are solid enough to not make me want to turn this movie off and give up on it completely. The one kill on screen that happens is actually very gorey and was a good pay off. I realized that in doing these reviews on this series not every one was going to be a winner, but I didn't think we would see a drop off like this so fast.
