Disney has announced yet another live-action adaptation of one of their beloved classics, and this time it's The Aristocats. The 1970 animated film told the story of a family of Parisian felines who must find their way back home with the help of a smooth-talking tomcat after being kidnapped by a jealous butler. Now, with Will Gluck and Keith Bunin set to pen the script, and Questlove executive producing and directing, we're in for a treat.
Questlove, the drummer and co-frontman for The Roots, has already proven his filmmaking prowess with his recent Oscar-winning documentary Summer of Soul. And now, he's set to bring his talents to The Aristocats. In addition to directing, Questlove will also executive produce the project and oversee the music, which is sure to be a standout feature of the film.
