The Night Eats The World Is A Great Modern Horror Film

Just as the title of this post suggests, The Night Eats The World is a great phycological horror movie who's attention to detail really depicts a realistic take on a zombie apocalypse. The film is centered around Sam played by actor Anders Danielsen Lie as he wakes up after a party at his ex's apartment and Paris has been taken by the zombie virus. The film is really a journey into his isolated mind as he must find a way to survive, overcome trials and decide how he will try to live with the streets seemingly loaded with zombies waiting for their next victims to try to run away. These zombies are something out of Night of the Living Dead meeting 28 Days Later. They aren't always out or fast moving until they see food and then wham! They are coming and quick! The cinematography really convey's how alone Sam is minus his only friend Arnold ( a zombie trapped in a private lift) and hi-lights his fall into and climb out of madness brilliantly. If you love zombie movies, but feel like nobody has done anything new with them lately, then this is absolutely the movie for you!
